Petrol hikes in Malaysia!! RM0.78!! Sure it affected everyone and every industry!!! Last year when it hiked to RM0.30, it created a 'twister' in Malaysia, and now, RM0.78. How can Malaysians survive when everything keeps increasing except salary?!
yes, it's really terrible. Now it's another burden. If Kuching got good public transport facility like the MRT or monorail, I WOULD definitely use that to go to work rather than driving my own car.

jasonblink, that's the main topic discussing by almost all of malaysians now, malaysia earning about 900billion by exporting petrol then now malaysians have to suffer from petrol hikes..

if in aug 08, pak lah announce to remove the petrol subsidy by which we have to fully afford may be RM3 or 4/litre, that would be really a bad time for us...well, nothing we can do, just wait, see, experience & get adapted to it...:p
amei79, pak lah promised wont increase within this year.. last year almost year end he said the petrol price wont increase, now left only 1/2 year he also said the same thing, haih...

Really? I thought petrol is free in Malaysia because you produce a lot of it?
